April 5 Frostbuster starts season at Marshalltown Speedway
MARSHALLTOWN, Iowa (March 25) – Four IMCA divisions see their first action of 2013 at Marshalltown Speedway, in the Friday, April 5 Frostbuster special.
The evening’s IMCA Xtreme Motor Sports Modified feature pays $1,000 to win and is a qualifying event for the 2013 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot.
IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars run for $500 to win, Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods for $400 and IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks for $250.
Pit gates at Marshalltown open at 4 p.m. and the grandstand opens at 5 p.m. Hot laps are at 6:15 p.m. and racing starts at 7 p.m.

The regular point season starts April 12 at Marshalltown.
Also hosting Frostbusters during the week are Southern Iowa Speedway at Oskaloosa on April 3, the Iowa State Fairgrounds Speedway in Des Moines on April 4, Boone Speedway on April 6 and Benton County Speedway in Vinton on April 7.
