Gustin and Gaylord Triumph During the FloRacing Night in America

MARSHALLTOWN, Iowa (May 13, 2025)

Gustin sees checkers in 20-lap IMCA Stock Car feature, Knight Sanitation.

The 20-lap IMCA Stock Car feature, Knight Sanitation. Jimmy Gustin and Dustin Vis led the field to the green flag. Vis would lead the first lap, but a caution would fly with 19 laps to go. Following three straight cautions, we would finally get some green flag laps in. Jimmy Gustin would pass Vis to grab the lead with 15 laps to go. Battles emerged throughout the course of the field, and Gustin would pull away from the field. Gustin put her on cruise control, and from the pole Jimmy Gustin would secure the win. Jay Schmidt, Cole Czarneski, Jake McBirnie, Dustin Vis, Johnathon Logue, Tyler Wilson, Brayton Carter, Troy Jerovetz, and Maguire DeJong rounded out the top ten.

Gaylord sees checkers in the 20-lap IMCA Modifieds presented by Tire Demon by Love Tap.

It was time for a nightcap, and the nightcap was the 20-lap IMCA Modifieds presented by Tire Demon by Love Tap. Riley Simmons and Dakota Sproul led the field to the green flag. Simmons would lead the first lap. A caution would fly with one lap in the books and 19 more to go. Tripp Gaylord took the lead with 18 to go. Multiple great battles emerge throughout the course on the field. Gaylord had to navigate himself through some traffic and was able to successfully and maintained a pretty sizable lead to secure the nightcap feature win. Zack VanderBeek, Dakota Sproul, Logan Anderson, Ryan Maitland, Kyle Brown, Todd Shute, Cody Laney, Drew Janssen, and Izac Mallicoat rounded out the top ten.

This Friday there is no racing at America's bucket list track, but the action at the High Banks continues next Friday, May 23rd. It’s Military Memorial Night, and it’s the Corn Belt Clash for the IMCA Stars Mod Lites. The other five regular classes will also be racing in that evening as well, with the pits opening at 5:15, grandstands at 5:30, and hot laps beginning at 6:30.
