Bradly Graham Tops the Hobby Stocks for $1,000.00, Carter, Hibdon, George, Livzey, and Grady Are Also Victorious

MARSHALLTOWN, Iowa (May 30th, 2025)

It was a beautiful night of racing at America’s bucket list track with 106 cars checked in across six classes. There was also an RBF Electric/Mid States Boring $1,000.00 to win the IMCA Hobby Socks special.

First to the track where the IMCA Mod Lites were presented by Drury Automotive. Jaxon Carr, a Des Moines, Iowa, native, started on the pole alongside the 3G of Joe Glick. Ben George would fly on the top side to lead lap one. George and Austin Gray battled it out throughout the 15-lap feature. Carr and Bryan Zhem battled it out for the 3rd spot. Ben George would lead all 15 laps to secure his first win this season at America’s Bucket List track. Austin Gray, Jaxon Carr, Bryan Zhem, and Joe Glick rounded out the top five. Des Moines native Jaxon Carr scored his first-ever podium finish in an IMCA Modlite after a rough ending to his season at Super Nationals last year.

It was time for the IMCA Northern SportMods presented by Rugged Radios feature after a great Mod Lite feature. Colo Iowa native Ryan King started on the pole, and along his outside was the 151 of Boe Jenkins. King would lead the first lap. Multiple cautions flew through this one, making it anyone’s race. Race fans saw some good side-by-side battles between Colton Livezey, Jenae Gustin, and Brayton Carter. Colton Livezey would beat Brayton Carter to the line to win his first race at the High Banks this season. Jenae Gustin, Kyle Olson, and Ryan King round out the top five.

It was time for the IMCA Sport Compact 15-lap feature presented by Hy-Vee after a nail-biting finish in the SportMod feature. Des Moines, Iowa, native Cejay Whisler started on the pole alongside 75K of Kadin Gosselink. Mitchell Bunch would lead the first lap. Bunch would also lead early, but he would get into a lap car and would receive a black flag, ending his night, and he would hand the lead to Spencer Roggentien. Roggentien would battle side by side with Christian Grady for the laps before Grady would beat Roggentien to the line to secure back-to-back feature wins at Marshalltown. Michael Garner, Ryan Cheney, and Curtis Masterson rounded out the top five.

IMCA Stock Cars presented by Knight Sanitation were up next after, once again, an exciting feature race from the Sport Compacts. Cedar Rapids, Iowa, native Kyle Olson started on the pole, and to his outside was the 5A of Tyler Pickett. Olson would lead lap one. Olson would race side by side with Austin Kaplan and Jimmy Gustin throughout the course of the 15-lap feature, but no one was paying attention to the 1X machine of Cayden Carter, who came from eighth and drove through the field to catch up with Kaplan and get under him to secure his first win at America’s Bucket List Track this season. Jimmy Gustin, Kyle Olson, and Maguire DeJong rounded out the top five.

It was time for the RBF Electric/Mid States Boring $1,000.00 to win the IMCA Hobby Stock feature event. Des Moines, Iowa, native Tom Killen Jr. started on the pole, and to his outside was the 9 of Kolby Sabin. Mullen would lead the first lap before last week's feature winner, Kevin Sather, would pass him for the lead and would maintain the lead for a while. Bradly Graham would battle it out with Sather before taking the lead with two laps to go. He would beat Sather to the line to secure the $1,000.00 feature win. Eric Stanton, Solomon Bennett, and Tom Killen Jr. rounded out the top five.

It was time for a nightcap. It was the IMCA Modifieds feature presented by Tire Demon by Love Tap. Janesville, Iowa, native Kolton Osborn started on the pole, and the 56 machine of Dustin Kroening started to his outside. Osborn would lead the first lap. Kollin Hibdon, a Fargo, North Dakota, native who started 9th, wheeled his way to a plus eight to secure the nightcap feature win. Todd Shute, Cayden Carter, Kolton Osborn, and Scott Simatovich round out the top five.

Next week, it’s a big payout for the SportMods and Modifieds. It's Capital Sign Twin Topless Dirty 30's $1,000.00 to Win IMCA SportMods/$1,200.00 to Win IMCA Modifieds. Draw / Redraw format for those divisions, weekly invert for the the other four weekly classes will also be racing. Pits open at 5:15, grandstands open at 5:30, with hot laps beginning at 6:30.
